August 7 - Opening Night at Clinton's!
The three winners of the Art Bar poetry contest will be announced tonight,
plus there will be Door Prizes - in honour of our 16th anniversary, Wolsak
and Wynn Publishers have donated 2 copies of the recently published
history of another significant Toronto literary series: The Bohemian
Embassy by Don Cullen.

Sex, Drugs, and Rockin' Poetry
Hostess Cynthia Gould will lead an all star lineup of poets in an
exploration of the seedier sides of poetry and the poetic essence of rock
lyrics. Open mic readers are strongly encouraged to wear leather pants,
and either read a poem on theme, or perform a dramatic reading of their
favourite lyrics.
